Depending on the model, the capacity ranges from 200kg/h to 2500kg/h. Equipped with powerful motors ranging from 11kW to 45kW and multiple knives, this machine effectively crushes PET bottles into smaller flakes for further processing.
Step 3: Separating PP/PE from PET flakes
The third step of the PET bottle recycling plant is washing and separating PP PE plastic pieces from PET flakes. Step 4: Washing with hot water at 80 degrees Celsius with lye solution
The next step is washing plastic by hot washing methods. The PET Bottle Hot Washing Tank is designed to thoroughly clean the PET flakes using a combination of electricity and steam. The hot washing tank can remove the oil, grease and glue from the PET flakes. Its durable construction, made of carton steel, ensures efficient and reliable operation. The tank’s height is 2m, and the diameter is 1.3m. The outer thickness is 4mm, while the bottom thickness is 8mm. It operates on a 4kW power.
Step 5: PET flakes frictional washing
The next step is washing plastic by a frictional washer. It can remove dirt thoroughly with its strong washing capacity. The Frictional Washing Machine processes 400-600kg/h of PET flakes with its 7.5kW power motor. It includes a washing tube with a diameter of 0.4m and a feeding inlet of 40*40cm. The machine’s compact size, measuring 4.1*0.6*1.4m, makes it space-efficient.
Step 6: Removing water from PET flakes
The last step is dewatering, the humidity of the final PET flakes is less than 1%. The Horizontal Plastic Dewatering Machine efficiently removes excess water from PET flakes. With a filter hole diameter of 4mm and a capacity of 1000kg/h, it effectively prepares the PET flakes for the next stage of the recycling process.

Yes, but it’s not recommended. If you want to make new plastic products from recycled PET bottles, then PET flakes are the way to go. If you melt it at high temperature and then granulate it, it will somewhat destroy the PET adhesion and other properties, which will affect the quality of the subsequent products.
